The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a gripping narrative featuring celestial beings, demons, and dark forces increasing in influence within the urban setting.

Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of this adventure lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of adventurers who will separate from the primary party to embark on their independent quest, separate from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Questers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might look unsuited, but the events of the third episode show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

First, the party knows exactly where to head next after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—used the enemy for his personal gain, entering the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and stealing all the enchanted items to sell off.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and fled to a secure base in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to exit the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and cautions that it is a hostile place.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute the target and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • However, their status as key figures in House Halovar could help the group enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that control the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This means them no alternative but to travel to the northern region in pursuit of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the cast members to assemble the Questers and Strategists parties.

Viewers can expect finding out which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
